Commissioned for 40th year anniversary launch for Bananarama

Using developed techniques to create texture using manipulated Screen’s, these large scale pieces were created to add dimension to the backdrop of a shoot. Working with Binder and Pigment for this specific Project.

The sense of dimension for this conceptual idea was important to begin to highlight dimensional space and the exploration of expanding space through a creative channel. To explore the ideas of space not being linear but an ethereal concept that can change based on what is presented within it.

Expanding the idea that space is a reflection of ourselves and we can use the guidance of nature to expand or contract the space depending on what we are able to perceive within it. Coming back to conceptual concepts of revealing the invisible, if we are open to receive what is sitting in the invisible we can bring it into the manifestation of the visible through the consequent reflection and guidance of natures laws and order.

For space in the current world it is an important question to propose to people, to make us question space and the true materiality of it? How can we shift our perception of space to shift our experience of reality.
